FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
January 2022
UNITE, a training, consulting and technology company, and Michigan State University today announced their partnership to enhance holistic corporate partnership strategies.
Holistic relationship management of corporate partnerships is a challenge in higher education. “At UNITE, we recognized this challenge and built the pieces necessary to help the university/industry partnership thrive,” said Chris Svec, co-founder of UNITE. “We designed a proven process and valuation tool when we led the corporate engagement work at The Ohio State University and we are excited to bring UNITE to Michigan State.”
MSU’s relationships with corporations are multifaceted and of great importance to many MSU stakeholders, said Brice Nelson, director of corporate partnerships for the MSU Innovation Center.
“The UNITE program will create a common vocabulary and framework to help these stakeholders communicate with one another and measure progress,” Nelson added. “We look forward to working together to enhance our internal teamwork and strengthen corporate relationships.”
The initiative between UNITE and Michigan State University will be one year in duration and launch in January 2022.
